Feeding Grazing Dairy Cows With Different Energy Sources on Recovery of Human-Edible Nutrients in Milk and Environmental Impact

چکیده

The use of grazing systems for milk production is widely used globally because it a lower-cost feeding system. However, under tropical conditions, the energy content pastures became limitation to improve animal performance and efficiency while reducing environmental impact. objective our study was evaluate impact supplying different dietary sources lactating dairy cows on recovery human-edible (HE) nutrients in Two experiments were conducted simultaneously. In experiment 1, forty early randomized block design. 2, four late-lactating rumen-cannulated 4 × Latin Square All had free access pasture treatments applied individually as concentrate supplement. Treatments flint corn grain-processing method either fine ground (FGC) or steam-flaked (SFC) associated with Ca salts palm fatty acids supplementation not supplemented (CON) (CSPO). We observed that SFC markedly reduced urinary nitrogen excretion by 43%, improved 17% when compared FGC. Additionally, we also supplemental fat receiving CON diets. A tendency decreased methane (CH ) per unit (−31%), CH output (−29%), protein (−31%) CSPO fed CON. diets increased HE indispensable amino 7–9% FGC diets, whereas 17–19% Altogether, this understanding how manipulating cow diet conditions can benefit nutrient reduce excretion.

Effect of feeding different sources of rumen-protected methionine on milk production and N-utilization in lactating dairy cows.

Objectives of this study were to quantify production responses of lactating dairy cows to supplying absorbable Met as isopropyl-2-hydroxy-4-(methylthio)-butanoic acid (HMBi), or rumen-protected Met (RPM, Smartamine M; Adisseo, Alpharetta, GA) fed with or without 2-hydroxy-4-(methylthio)-butanoic acid (HMB), and to determine whether Met supplementation will allow the feeding of reduced dietary c...

Impact of an Agroforestry System on Grazing, Ruminating, and Resting Behaviors of Dairy Cows

The present study aimed to evaluate the effects of agroforestry system on the feeding behavior of dairy cows in the Brazilian Amazon region. Nineteen cross breed dairy cows (14.0±3.30 kg/d of milk yield and 450±40.1 kg body weight) were used. The following treatments were evaluated: A) animals were maintained in opened pasture of Brachiaria brizantha during all the day; B) animals were...

Animal Factors Condition Milk Performance and Quality of Grazing Dairy Cows

The base of this review is to consider the relevant role that animal factors (potential milk yield, body weight, body condition score, state of lactation, parity and fertility) play on milk performance (considering the energy balance and the rumen function across the full lactation curve of animals) and milk quality (milk protein content, milk fat content, milk lactose content, vitamins, minera...

Effect of Dietary and Animal Factors on Milk Fatty Acids Composition of Grazing Dairy Cows: A Review

In pasture-based milk production systems, using available farm resources in order to reduce feeding costs, the composition and functional properties of dairy cows’ milk are of considerable importance to the dairy farmer, manufacturer and consumer. Basically, there are three options for altering the composition and/or functional properties of milk: 1) cow nutrition and grazing management, 2) cow...
